Cinéma Le Méliès

Cinéma le Méliès is a cinema in France in the city of Grenoble. It was my project for my degree a long time ago and I loved working on this so much that I recently decided to give it a re-brand. As a homage to George Méliès and his magic universe I wanted the logo to have a star, it is built of three lines that are also acting as accents above the “e”.

The cinema has three rooms to screen movies which tie in the three lines of the star. In terms of colours, I used a declination of RGB that I wanted vibrant but modern, a palette that works with recent movies as well as black and white and coloured films.
